Hello,
I've always been a fan of the Donzi boats, and recently found what appears to be a restorable Donzi 18. I've been trying to figure out the year, and one thing I've noticed is that instead of the Donzi decal on the side, this boat has chrome, metal emblems that say Donzi Marine. Does anyone have any ideas on what year this boat could be?
Thanks,
Jim

I have a "66" 16' and it has the metal logo also that says "Donzi Marine" and then below it, in small letters, but part of the same piece, it says "High Performance Power Boats". My boat also has the donzi and flag stickers but no serial number on the hull. I don't know how long they used the metal insignia or when they started the use of serial numbers.

Those metal emplems are very desireable.
My '67 has the metal emblems. Post pics and there is a stronger chance that we can help with the ID. Did you look under the deck, just in front of the dash?

It could be 1966-1969 or even a 70. What does the transom look like? Where the rub rail is on the transom is it stright or curved?
