Woodsy, thanks! These pics actually don't do much justice. It looks way better in the bright sunlight. I have soooo much work into it. But, I am very happy with the way it turned out. My drive is currently being rebuilt and I am suppose to get more info today on my "experiment". :D

Boy those are big K planes!!! Mine aren't that long. Do they help keep the bow down with that Blackhawk drive?

Uh-oh, my secrets are being revealed!!! wink Bill, I replaced the short K-planes (150's I think) with the 280's last year. They did shave a couple of mph off the top end but they made a huge difference in the cross chop. I am able to run much faster in the "confused" waters because they keep the bow down without as much drag.

Blackhawk, The colored windshield is a unique touch. looks pretty cool. What are the panels made of? opaque colored lexan or something? painted? And if you think those pics dont do it any justice, i cant imagine it in person. Whats in the boat, a 502?

McGary,

It is painted lexan. I wanted to do something different to set the boat off. The DONZI decal on the windshield is brand new. The boat has a stock 502 EFI with a blackhawk drive.
