Here is our 1999 22zx that was my trade on the new 26 and now belongs to Kelly B. here on the board.
It is amazing how fast things are now, P4 2.5ghz 512 DDR Ram on the new 533 bus and 128DDR Video, I thought cable was fast
on a PII USB, Cable NIC is the ticket! Where have I been! Enjoy!

LIL GRIZZ, great thread uh, I always loved your fairing paint/style over what I had.

Anyway I was noticing your trailer setup, what is your tongue weight, the hull step in
reference to the wheel and tower was what caught my eye. We did 400 pounds on the 22ZX
and we do 700 on the 26ZX.
Just curious, Bryan

Actually Bryan I dont think that is a picture of the trailer that came with the boat. Those were taken back before I bought the boat and mailed to me before I drove 6 hours to see it. In fact I am pretty sure the boat is sitting on two different trailers in those pics. The wheel lip is definately farther forward in the side pic than it is in the 3/4 pic. What I have looks the same but the wheels sit farther back in relation to the step than the trailer in the pics. I still think the boat is way too far back on the trailer(read too long for it) as it sits right now and im working on getting more weight on the nose. The only issue is there really isnt much to work with on it, the bow stand cannot move more than an inch farther forward before it gets obstructed by the union of the I-beams. My options are to move the wheels back some, get a bow stand that leans more towards the truck, or buy a new trailer. I never trailer much farther than 20 miles so it hasnt been an issue yet.

Lil Griz, 1" makes a difference in tongue weight in ref to the tower, I have great school teachers
in this area. I got my new trailer
and my buds sent me in the house for a drink, came out and
the 26 was on blocks and a floor jack while they
properly adjusted the bunks.
My T-Weight was way to light, I learn something new every day owning a boat!

Yours looks great, like I said, I always liked your fairing style. You still planning to move up?

How is Big Griz doing these days? AOTH III, around the corner in my eyes! :)

My Loadrite came with 3 seperate bunks that float on swivel U bolts, very nice set up.

The straight bunk (carved for the step) with the 22 chipped the corners of the step.
AND always needed a carpet job, they would rip at the step.
