I just bought a 24p 14 1/4 Turbo for $190 bucks. Its in perfect shape. I am turning a 25p Mirage right now. I have a 454 Mag with a Bravo 1 drive. Is this prop good for my 22 classic??? i have the prop already. Was this a wise buy? :D :D

I think your gonna turn more rpms and be at the same speed or more then likely slower...

what rpms are you turning with the 25p?

you could possibly gain some speed though...

why not throw it on and get back to us!

i have a mild build 454. I turn 4650-4700 rpm at around 72 mph with my Mirage. I want to see like 4900 rpm's and like a mile or 2 increase. is this possible

Is possible . . . time to test!

T, We have a 14 1/4 x 23 Turbo Stainless on our 454 with a 1:46 ratio , runs great on the Bay, zero complaints....

I had a 24 Turbo on my 20 Formula. 350/330 turned it 4600. It would porpoise badly when trying to trim out. Be aware the Formula has a hook in it, so that may have caused the porpoising.

T - I think you will like it a lot. I use both the 24 and the 25 Turbo. Both work great but I usually run the 25. 24 turns 5000 on my 454 Mag with 1.5 to 1 ratio drive.
Follow Madpoodle to Eufaula IV and you can try my 25, and some others if you like.

what is this Euleufa thing your talking about? WHat speeds are you seeing with these props? I think we both have the same exact set up.

T, 4400 to 4600 +/- rpms, and we see 64 to 66 in our 22 loaded, fuel & 4 man crew...not ridiculous on the trim, and no tabs down...but I would guess we would scare low 70's under cool ideal circumstances and less of a load in our 22! I know my motor has more rpm in it so I too need to experiment with some props! We normally do not run above 55 to 60 in the Chesapeake Bay! It just won't let you, often anyway! But we do manage to hold our own and keep up with the Jones and it does "Fly" right! :D ...Doc
Our boat is not as fast as Tomahawk, he runs consistent low to mid 70's(72-74) clean and straight, nice colors on his boat too :p
