My donzi has a flush mounted on the back.It seems that Iam getting air lock in my seastrainer/flush hose.Iam having to start my engine with a gardenhose to my flush to get the impleller/water to start pumping thru my seastrainer.Once the water gets flowing I disconect the hose put the cap back onto the flush connecter then the water flows good. What a pain in the ass.Maybe I could put a shutoff valve in the flush hose to keep the water from sifoning back out?

I think something is a miss the pump should be able to pull the water through. There may be an air leak or maybe a weak impeller.

Went out again today, some kind of an air leak. The water pumps fine once I prime it with a garden hose.Got it to go 74mph today. eek!
