Non-standard question for 22' Classic owners:

How far from the front of your trailer to the back of the (rear) tire?

This is regarding clearance from a garage door back to a 4" rise in my garage floor. As it stands, I will have about 22' of 'bay' before reaching the 4" curb. Want to make sure a trailer for a 22 Classic will fit in without having to jump the 'curb'. Overhang beyond the curb (i.e. behind the rear tire) no problem, plenty room.

Anybody quick with a tape measure?? Got to look ahead for what's next after the 18' before we build this garage. If necessary the 'bay could be made a few feet longer.

Thanks,
Brad

PM - yup, could be. Bill's trailer is set up with axles further back than mine as well. Guess that means we didn't really clear this up for WOT-sup.

How about a LOA from front of coupler to prop (tucked in drive or?) for a 22?

I am building a garage for the future mistress and wondered how big to go.

Thanks for the inputs everyone. Going to go with 25'...that will give a little margin for whatever is over the horizion figuring that a little more is better than not quite enough.

Plan is for a 34'L x 25'W garage. Zoning requires a 4" drop from house to automobile level, hence there will be a 9'pad (workspace) dropping to a 25' bay (34'total). Originally drawn with a 22' bay, so thanks everyone for the inputs towards the idea of planning ahead (what a concept :) ).
