Well guys, I'm a happy camper... looks like our tach issue was solved by re-re-verifying the connections although it still likes to squiggle between 2000-3000 RPM. Thanks MOP, I found a single loose connector. The new gauges look great and they add 15 mph to the looks of the 16!

Also, at about 4200/4300 RPM I was running 49.7 MPH GPS with 4 ppl, 3/4 tank, and an ineffecient aerodynamic tube bungied to the back. With additional trim tweaking I think I could have hit the 50mph mark... Just tipped the 100 hour mark as well!

To ponder: If no passengers (400lbs) and no extra gas (15 gals @ roughly 8.3 lbs/gallon = 124lbs)... Think I could have squeeked to 53-54 MPH?

It will be a while before we go out again. Time is at a permium around here. Hope everyone is having a good run this summer. Be Safe!
