I would wrather have the New one's being offered
on this site and have the Old propellor logo.

I would rather have whichever design that originally came with the boat.

I think they used both, my boat being a '67 16' with the original knob on it...propeller style.

Does anyone know what year they went from the Propeller to the Lion and Dolphin?

Don't ya just love it when an auction item gets pulled when you have bid on it and look forward to bidding on it some more. Items like these don't come up everyday. Just friggin great.

Scott, any ETA on them yet?
(1 Propellor logo knob)

Also can I buy an extra threaded insert for the bottom of my original knob?

Guys,
Looks like we will most likely have the knobs ready by the end next week. We will let everyone know when to start sending checks. So once we have the checks we will ship the knobs.

Ted,
Dont have your email address....contact me.

Guys,
Scott and I have decided not to sell any components, just complete knobs.
We don't have any spare parts, just enough for complete assemblies. Thanks for being patient.

Ted,

I am pretty sure Cliff and Scott are having them custom machined for this application.

Ted, I think you might find that the exact insert you seek, is used in Hurst shifter knobs..
Worth a call to them anyways.

Ted:
Try McMaster Carr (http://www.mcmaster.com/) and search for "threaded inserts" or Reid Tool (http://www.reidtool.com/store/store/listCategoriesAndProducts.asp?idCategory=6193&curPage=1) for a plastic knob that you could remove the insert from. (a hammer should work well eek! ) McMaster Carr has knobs as well. I replaced my original Morse shifter knob with a plastic one 'till I can refinish it.

I emailed the guy about the auction and this was his response:
"The two knobs were sold locally and both are gone. They were quite expensive and nothing like the bids on Ebay when the auction was ended. Obviously, the auction had to end because the items were no longer available. Sorry for the confusion on this."
