yep its me!!!!

won't fit or just to much weight? I am gettinga new engien for my scarab and am plannign on rebiulding my old one ove rteh next few months. Its ok but could use refreshing so i figured it would be fun to drop a big block in a little boat :D

I was thinking jet boat but a classic donzi is cooler. Would it fit in an 18? I just liek thiose little 16s neat little boats. A guy aroudn here has a new one and i always liked the lines of it.

Too much weight for a 16...plus fit issues, borderline for an 18...though some have done it, just right for a 22.

wow.. a bbc in a 16... that'd be a neat magic trick to see...

i'm sure it could be done... feasible? maybe... practical? not really... easy? ummmm definitely not... logical? again, not really... the sbc is about all you care to cram under the hatch as it is.. and there isnt much room for that... and it already weighs too much.

take a look at a few of my recent posts and you'll see what a 350 looks like in a 16... it's sort of cramped...

and heck i've been told i look 19, but 12??? common you have to be kidding me!!!!

Welcome Puder - good to see you over here. I would suggest looking for an 18 for your motor or maybe a Minx. Rick from TN (RiggerB) squeezed one into an 18 and could advise you on that. Happy hunting.

Do any of you boat in Great South bay NY? I have heard that there is a 16 running with a big block in it over there. Sounds a bit Hairy to me, you can do so much with small blocks why bother.
