Mark, Mine were actually mising when we got ours, check out some of the pics of 22's on the Lake George Gallery, I found that there were some mounted forward and were longer, others like ours were more to the rear, whoever had ours, did a rotten job initially, we had them both replaced & reinforced the mount area, by a local Donzi Dealer (Jackson Marine) while they were doing some other favors! The whole set up is kinda of a poor design actually? :p But they work great now, thought of a ram set up too, but that's something else altogether...Doc

Mark, I dug up some file info from Donzi, they sent me bracket placement info. when I was researching mine in 2001. On the Hatch from either rear corner 17" forward and inset 2.5" from lip edge of hatch...if I get to my Marina yet this week, I will look at mine and get a strut size also? wink ...Doc

Big Mark, O.K. here we go, I went to the Marina this afternoon, the struts themselves are aprox 20.5" extended with the hatch open! That is hooking the tape on the outside edge of the strut connection at the lower or most rearword bracket! From there to the "CENTERLINE" of the top bracket where the ball pivot snaps into the bracket(most forward hatch bracket)is 20.5" eek! I hope this isn't anymore confusing to read as it is to write! Also, I pulled all of the label info. off the Struts: " Sierra International, N Brunswick ,N.J. GS-62790 , SPD-GS-5300-40 " :D Hope this is helpful...BTW :after analizing the measurements,in the post above, I think after comparing them to the diagram they sent me,those measurements were for a 16' or 18', NOT a 22 Classic....Doc

Mark,
If the file that you uploaded had any spaces in it then it will not work. Before you upload the file again you need to rename the file from "Donzi eng 2.jpg" to "Donzieng2.jpg"
