A friend of mine has a brother who has an intersting boat in his back yard collecting leaves. It is approx. 25 feet and was obviously some attempt at an inboard speed boat. The name Seylor is on the side and supposedly has a Kevlar hull. Cool looking boat but, what makes it intersting is that it has a straight inboard setup with the engine and fuel tanks mounted forward of the cockpit. The propeller shaft runs to a false transom approx 4 feet forward of the rear of the boat giving the shaft an almost parallel angle to the water surface. There are huge trim tabs mounted forward of the final transom. Needs engine and work. Curious as to whether anyone knows anything about these boats. Might make an interesting project if there is any history behind it. Estimate the year to be late 70's early 80's.
