Where would be a good place to buy a high volume marine fuel pump as well as a marine Holley for my new engine. Also is 600 CFM enough for lets say a 350/350?

Thanks

Chris,
Jegs (jegs.com) stocks several marine Holley carburetors. I recently bought a 650 CFM, model 4150 double pumper with elec. choke and manual secondaries for $385.99, #510-0-80559. They also have a 600 CFM model 4160 with elec. choke and vacuum secondaries for $365.99, #510-0-80551. They stock marine Edelbrock carbs to. If your hooked on the Holley and are planning on modifying your engine than go with the 4150. The extra $20 buys a lot better carburetor. Buy an Edelbrock if you don't really want to mess with the carb. I personally like the Holley because I know it well and parts like jets and gaskets are easy to get.

Also read through this old post it may help. http://www.donzi.net/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000160.html

Chris, I've found the prices at P.A.W. to be very competitive. They carry the fuel pump you are looking for, as well as Holley and Edelbrock carbs. It's interesting to note that the Edelbrock Marine carbs are nearly $100 less expensive than a comparable Holley. I wonder why?.....Good luck with your project! Chris Riley
