14x23LH prop for Volvo 280 Drive Source

Thanks for your advice. I need a bit more.

I have determined that a 14x23 LH prop would be right for my 1967 18' 2+3 that has a 350 chev with a cam kit.

I called Bronson Hill in San Diego to order one , but they are back ordered for about 30 days.

Can anybody tell me where I could order a prop like this?

Unless someone on this board has what you are looking for sitting in their garage collecting dust, I would go ahead and put in an order with Hill Propellers now. Very few prop builders build stainless performance props for Volvo Aquamatics, and those few who do, it's custom - not off the shelf. Solas (http://www.solas.com/2-5_5678.html) sells a stainless-steel Aquamatic prop, but the highest pitch they have is 21".

I believe Michigan still sells a prop for Aquamatics, but it like the Solas is only a 21 pitch.
Does Hill make small ear props for a Volvo, or just the "elephant ear" type?

You can always have a Mercury prop machined for a Volvo hub, Although trial and error gets expensive.

Spinelli in Rochester NY makes custom props for Volvos.but big bucks
14 sounds kinda small and make sure you know if you have a short or long shaft.

I have 3 round ear aluminum props I'm sending out for refurb, 2 are in rough shape don't think they can be reworked

My goal is a 15x25 aluminum and if I like it I'll go SS

I was told by Henry Smith Propelers in Algonac Mi. that Mich. Wheel no longer makes the alum.14x23 left hand 17 spline prop any more but they do still make the 16x23 which he can cut down to a 14x23.
