Any good spots near Sandusky?

We're staying at the Radisson Harbour Inn, (Sandusky, OH) Sunday and Monday. While the son and a friend are in Cedar Point we are boating the Sandusky Bay, or into Lake Erie if conditions allow. Any suggestions for nearby spots to see, or good waterfront restaurants/bars, in this area?

Put-In-Bay and Kelly's Island and a few others like Catawaba and the bass islands are not far away... havn't been that way in a few years and never went across from sandusky and port clinton so i don not know what the water gets like in the islands but the 16 can probably handle it on a decent day... might check it out on the map.. Put-In-Bay and Kelly's can be a whooooole bundle of excitement on a good weekend... that's for sure....
