Outdrive gear ratio?

How do find out what gear ratio a drive is? I have a 1997 Bravo 1 drive on a 22 classic. I :D spin 4600 rpm @72 mph with a 25p Mirage.

Unless your drive has been painted, the reduction ratio is on a gold or silver painted band about a third of the way down from the top. On the band, on the starboard side would be a longish number which is the serial number of your specific drive unit. On the port side of the same band is a short number that looks something like 1.5R or 1.65R, or numbers to that effect. the 1.5R means a gear reduction ration of 1.5 to 1, etc.
