Battery Charger Use Question

I ran my battery down - left a switch on. Recharged the battery and rather than crawl under the cover to unhook the leads, I just unplugged the charger from the 110 AC outlet. A day or so later, the battery is dead again. Will leaving the charger leads hooked to the battery terminal discharge the battery? Maybe this is a yes or no question dependent on type of charger?

You're right it depends on charger.

Some have a polarity switch that will run it down if you leave it connected long.
