I just put new gauges in my boat and the stock locations are to close together for my bezels to fit on my speedo and tach. :( So, it looks like a new dash panel is in my future.

I remembered an old post where there was a sweet dash panel with the "stripe" on it. So I did a search and found it:

Or a nice polished piece from Scott Pearson would look sweet too.

Here's a pic of my gauge layout.

BLACK HAWK!

you can fit bexels in the gauge cluster....

you have to buy SLIM LINE BEZELS...

gaffrig makes them...

my gaffrig gauges with the stock bezels wouldnt fit. but I got the slimline bezels for the inside cluster and it looked sweet, (I used regular bezels on my hour meter and speedometer)its a pretty trick set up with different size bezels;).

I know you probably wouldnt want to do this but I think the gauge cluster would look good if you got slim line bezels for the smaller gauges and used your regular size bezels for the tach and speedo (and not slimline bezels just for the tach and speedo)IMHO

notice both outer gauges have larger bezels....

I'm sure I could come up with something. The only problem is it wouldnt be cost effective. Putting out a "one off" piece can get very expencive. Let me know what you decide. I would be happy to help out.

Scott, I am going to try something tonight. I think I may be able to make it work. However, I would still be interested in a polished unit. Maybe we could get a few people together with this style layaout(or similar) that would want one to bring the cost down?

I can help with dash panels. Check this one out I designed for a Magnum 70. It's brushed stainless with etched lines and titles.

You don't even want to ask how long it took him.

Half my problem is, his boat all over my place.

We probably will have Stuarts boat bolted back together this weekend. Then I will have room for mine.

Blackhawk, the Faria dress white gauges look great! Did you get the switches from Mark as well. I have been trying to get a set like that from the same guy but you have to win them on Ebay. I hate Ebay, it's such a pain in the ... Where is your trim gauge?

Brad,

Just contact Mark directly via e-mail and he will hook you up. No need to mess with ebay! That's funny that you ask about the switches because whn I got done putting the gauges in I looked over at my rockers and the black just isn't cutting it. He's sending me 5 new white rockers on Monday.

I got rid of the trim gauge because I plan on putting mechanicals in soon. Those damn Mercury senders never work right anyway. I haven't looked at my trim gauge in 3 years! So I threw the clock in it's place. The only clock I have on the boat is on my CD player and it's hard to read in sunlight.

I finally got the bezels to fit today. I just had to file on my opening on the bottom of my speedo and tach about an 1/8" and they fit.

Have been sending emails back and forth today. I will most likely order them from him early next week. I will have to hold off on the bezels and switches at this time, not in this months budget! :(
