JP, you might be right. Late last night on the Discovery channel, saw a show called Air Jaws 2. Sure enough, off South Africa, they were dangling a fake seal in the air from a helicopter, and a great white jumped up and bit it. Maybe they showed this pic too, but it was late and i fell asleep. The photo is real. I know because I was there. I'm the fellow in the water to the left. Shortly after this picture was taken, I caught the 30 footer by the tail, killed him with my diver's knife and ate him for breakfast. What a day it was. :p

ha ha, i talked to someone who fell on skis at 90. i didnt really care at the time, i was more interested in the 20' low slung twin outboard black and orange catamaran he owned.

I guess one benefit would be the opportunity to ski year-round, as I suspect the temp would be a bit warm behind the tow vessel!

MP when I did my check out dives in Deerfield Beach in the late 80's, someone asked the Captain if you should try to out swim a shark, and he replyed;
"Never worry about out-swimming a shark, just make sure you can out-swim your dive buddy." :D :D

This one was bugging me, I admit it. The discovery channel had a form where you could submit a question for shark week, so i sent this link asking for validity. Well the producer from last years shark week emailed me back this am, and pointed me to this link SharkJump (http://www.apexpredators.com/sequences.asp) . Third row down, middle pic. Thats it. After reading diggers comments, i would think that there would be more prop wash from the rotor on the helo. Its missing from the portion with the shark. Cool shark pics though. Id rather ski from an f-14 anyway....
