Black lit Gauges

Is there anyway to change the back lighting from white to red on the gauges on my Black Hawk?

if they are like the faria ones on mine all it would take is replacing the bulbs in them. mine just twist out from the back.

if the bulbs twist out of the back in the gauge socket and have straight walled bulbs then autometer makes little rubber condoms that slip over em and change the color... i have red on mine but i also have em in green...

i don't know if it's a condom, but they do resemble them. even come in colors. my bulbs are all protected in red.

I had some directly from VDO that I never used. I am not sure what gauges/size bulbs you have but if they will work and I can find them you can have them. I replaced all my gauges last year and I don't have a use for them anymore.

I looked for them with no luck. But I remember they are called "light diffusers" and you can probably get them from anywhere that sells gauges. And yes, they look like mini red condoms. :)

i was at the super walmart yesterday and they had the little condoms in with all there other "hot rod" accessories for the rice burners. you could probably find them at auto parts stores too.

Little red condoms James ? I'll let you get away with that one but only this once. With automotive LED's they are called boots.
