Well, I found a crack in my port side header and water is dripping out of the bottom were the crack is.
I'm pretty bummed about it.

does anyone happen to have a port side glenwood header?

If I have to buy headers what should i purchase?

I was thinkin about running it and checking up on it to see how bad the leak really is. but im a little timid about doing that :( . I dont want to sink my boat.

anyone think the crack will get worse even with the low water pressure set up I run?

thanks for any help at all :o

Try sanding the paint off, then use two stage metal weld. This can be found at any industrial supply house,or your local plumbing,heating,A/C wholesaler. I used that on my Glenwood manifolds, and it worked for 3 yrs...Ed

I've used JB weld to fix cracks temporarily and five years later it still holds...........

I was thinkin about using some jbweld wasnt sure if it would work or not, ill have to give it a shot, but i would rather just replace it.

heres some pics of it.
please refrain from the rust remarks :o When i installed the motor it seemed to have a good coat of paint on the block "seemed" :o my intake and valve covers still look new :( since i painted em.

well heres the pics ,the crack is on the bottom.

Hey Moody, the other thing that has always worked well for me and lasted forever is Marine Tex, just make sure you get the one for underwater. Stuff lasts forever!
