I am no where near ready to do this but I was wondering which is the preferred swap considering cost and performance? I saw that the Bravo Shop offers a conversion from an Aplha 1 to a Bravo but the cost was somewhere around $7,000.00. eek! I have seen Alpha SS' on Ebay for $2,500 and less. From what I have read the installation of the Alpha SS alone should add about 6-10 mph. I hope to someday make my Minx into a 70 - 75 mph boat by doing some engine work, possibly a stroker motor and a drive that will withstand the added horsepower. What would you guys install? The Alpha SS or go for the big bucks for the Bravo swap?
