web page (http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/8/0/51217380.htm)

I am interested in this boat, but I think they have it priced way too high.
I know Donzi made a Z29 with surface drives that could command 39k. But this one has stern drives.

NADA says mid to late 20's

What would be a fair price?

These are nice boats.

This appears to be a nice looking boat but he is about 19k too high. Make sure the stringers and transom have no rot in them.

AND he is not throwing in a trailer either.

If the boat is Cherry perfect I would pay no more that 29k for a z29 with a trailer. It would have to be perfect for that price.

If the pic's are current, and hopefully they are, that's an EXTREMELY clean, well preserved example.

I wouldn't venture past 28k-29k and it would have to be on a galvanized or aluminum trailer at that.

Doesn't make any mention of canvas either. If it's 39k without trailer or canvas, oh vey, la-la-la-la-land.

At least it doesn't have twin 460's wink

That's just MY opinion. Other's may vary.

It may be worth it...What size NEW boat can you buy for $40000 today? Its a Donzi, not a Wellcraft!!! These were quality built boats. Look at all the quality parts used in its construction. Oh ya, you guys know that...It may be a bit high, but if it is MINT, would it worth a higher price? I am sure when you guys try to sell your boat, you'll try to get as much as you can...All this from a guy trying to sell a Z-33..

I told the seller that I would take a look at it for 27k with the trailer. Its a place to start.
I still believe that they looked at the wrong NADA value when pricing this boat. They were looking at the model with surface drives. I hope they didnt pay any more than 25k for it, or they may be holding that boat for a while.

By the way, can someone give me a trailerable weight on this boat. I'm not sure I have enough HP to tow it.

I have a Z29 and we towed her up from Florida with a 2000 Suburban,It made it but it was a strugle. I have been told the weight was 5500 dry, I think that’s low. We haven’t had any time to get it weighed. We plan on checking the weight in the future. We now tow it with a 2003 Duramax diesel or a 2003 GMC 2500 yukon XL. With no problems.

My 6000 pound lift, which was supposed to have a 10% variance (to the high side) would not pick up my boat. I upgraded to an 8k lift and it does fine.

We pull it with a F250 PSD with no problems.

$39k is too high.
