SS drive water issue SOLVED !! pumps like Hoover dam now :D
What a cheap fix this was.... :cool:

The new MC pump housing SS insert, sticks up about .020 above the face of the housing, and hits the SS plate without sealing fully on the gasket. Also, the gasket below the SS plate was defective and didn't cover one dividing bridge in the lower plastic housing as needed between the bottom of the SS plate and the lower plastic housing. Replaced the impeller housing and gasket, submerged drive in the every faithfull GOTT cooler, and now it primes and pumps almost immediately. :D :D
