Well I now know where one of the other 2002 22 Classic SE's is located. I wonder which one this is, Hull #1? Last I heard only 3 were made for the 2002 model year.

Yep, they've got it listed on their web site for $89,000.

Not to step on any toes but that boat is not worth $ 89K. Maybe if it came with a spare 500EFI...

What does a new one cost?
I thought they were in the 60K range.

In Miami (boat show) you could get one for about $ 66K according to the HRPA guys that went...

They are neat and FAST.

In the defense of Donzi and their Dealers, the 22 SE is a one of a kind boat. The "List" mark-up on the 22SE is the same as all the other boats. The HP500, K-Planes, Custom Paint, etc, etc are not cheap. Furthermore, the upgrade price for the HP500 is the same on the 22SE as it is on bigger boats like the 26ZX.

In my opinion if you buy this boat at a reasonable price (like Bryan states) you certainly get what you payed for, and heck it even comes with a new warranty.

Your welcome Ted.
??? Can you shed any light on Scarab's being discontinued, our dealer (Lynnhaven Marine) says they are soon to be a thing of the past, we have 2 new 33's a couple 29's and a bunch of 26's that run with us.
Just curious, those boys aren't saying much.

I wish I could comment on that but I signed a
confidentiality agreement with Wellcraft that forbids me from saying anything related to
work matters. Beleive me, they are serious about
it too!!!!

I figured it was true, just curious.
The 2 33's in our club are nice boats, one 502 boat and one 496Mag HO, the 502 boat is a screamer!

???? Another question Ted (we should talk soon), my best bud has a 29 2001 502 and he was running a 21 MP 3 blade, 50MPH GPS, @ 4500 RPM, nothing left. (came that way from the dealer)
I gave him a Bravo I 22P and he picked up 5 MPH GPS across the power curve. That boat is maxed out at 54MPH. I know the 29 is a heavy boat but don't you think he should turn 5100 like the rest of us. I ask this as a favor if you can comment, he is a very close friend, the 29 ROADTRIP mentioned in the Norfolk PR post (we never saw him again due to speed).
Thanks TED.

Ted,

Why you selling that bad boy? You were the 22' Classic I was gunning for. I did a lot to mine last season last year to get it ready to handle more speed. I figured this winter it was time to actually make it faster.

You must have caught wind and got a little scared. wink Seriously, that is a bad-ass boat.

I think Ted is building the other 22 hull with a 850SC.
Ya just never know, or how about an 18 with a jet engine!
LOL

Bryan, we will talk at the next meet.

Blackhawk, I have an opportunity for something
else. But if I dont sell it I would love to
have some fun in a little drag race....I have
some other plans for him if he does not sell.
It is always fun tinkering with things is'nt
it!
AINT SCARED.......

Ted,

I am the same way. I had biggerboatitus a couple of weeks ago. I almost put mine on traderonline and then decided to wait. I didn't have a chance to run the boat for 10 days because I am building a new house and work has been slammed. Finally went out last night and had a blast with it. First time I have opened it up with my stock props back on and my external steering.

The problem is, I have started to enjoy "tinkering" too much. Everything I would like to do costs money that I will probably never see when I sell it. But that doesn't mean I won't do it anyway! :)
