After noticing Cuba's pick up location...

Im wondering if the location would have something to do with prop slippage,when I look behind the boat there is a wake coming off the water pick up that runs right into the prop,I would guess that a speedo pick up will do the same.Im not saying cuda would have this problem with the egg beaters but with a standard outdrive its just a thought...anybody ever play with this idea.
