My drive does not want to trim all the way in.With the drive level to the hull, the ram only drives in another 1" as you can see in the photos, there is another 2" of travel to go. Is there some kind of adjustment I am missing? Ed

The first time I trimmed my motor up out of the water, it stopped at the same point as in your pictures. I pressed the switch again and it went all the way up. Sounds like you may have an electric problem of some sort.

Madpoodle,The engine was running very lean with the carb from the Pantera on it. Pulled the carb and foung a piece of gasket plugging one of the jets.I am now re jetting the 850 that was on the twin turbo.78 primary 84 secondary 50 cc pumps.I installed a fuel ratio monitor and that is helping me out. PS. I have run both a 3 blade Cleaver and a 4 blade Mach Stern Driver, and both have the bow howling at the moon. By your response to selling the Criterion I am assuming you were NOT the lucky new owner of the SS that was up for sale...Ed

-----Poodles response means nothing,Ed,as he would figure out how to buy 6 of them if they all came up for sale at the same time.Truth be told so would I,although I have no idea how!...........Bill S

Ed the pictures look like minedows bur I do have negitive trim just not much. I use the Turbo lightning and the boat runs flat at speed above 35 MPH. The prop lifts the stern. The Brovo I squats the stern and lifts the bow and I don't like the way it handles. My set up is just like yours with Imco stering and all. I don't want to tell you this but I think your planes are too close to the bottom

Ed I have stoch tabs that are mounted 1/2 above the bottom of the boat and trim up 10 degrees from parralell to the hull. In semi rough conditions I trim tabs parralell to the bottom. This is acurate because I hase trim gauges from Stainless Marine, which I find are very necessary to Know where the tabs are. Ed I got an Idea come down to Sarasota for the ralley and see for yourself go for a ride with me.
