Hey guys, I'm really interested to hear what you all do for a living. Since we all share a common passion for Donzi's, I think it would be interesting to find out how diverse our employment might be. We tried this on a snowmobile website a while back, and the results were entertaining, to say the least!

I work as a sales rep for Parts Unlimited, calling on the snowmobile, ATV, motorcycle, and PWC dealers here in Northern Michigan. I also write race coverage, team profiles, and tech articles for Snow-Week, which is a performance snowmobile publication.

Okay, who's next?

Working on the “Money Pit” trying to get my house back to new again (will never happen). Taking care of my 11 month year old Daughter. Debating on buying land on Lake Winnipesaukee and the Wife “needing and getting” a new Lexus, does not help my woes in life at this time.

I'm a Telecommunications Consultant for voice, video and data distribution systems. Mostly large-scale projects for Universities, Public School Districts, Large Hospitals and Corporate Office Buildings.

"Have briefcase, will travel..."

Some current projects: 1) Five Outside Fiber Plants installing something like 200 miles of fiber optic cabling and WAN/LAN gear in school districts in Austin, Dallas and Houston areas. 2) At another, I'm involved in supervising the installation of something like 13,000 LAN ports -- cabling and switchgear. 3) Also just finishing up a Technology Master Plan for a 10,000-student University in Mexico that will probably include subsequent design and installation over the next couple of years.

In my "spare" time, I'm in the process of restoring/rebuilding/rehabilitating an M6 BMW, two Jags (a '64 E-Type Roadster and a '75 XJ12C), a '58 Healey 100-6, a '72 Triumph Stag and a '68 Chevy 4x4 truck that saw me through college (for my oldest to use as he goes through high school beginning next year).

Also, I just put the final wax on a frame-off restoration of a '72 TR6 with a few "improvements" -- like a 3.5L Rover engine, a B&B multi-plate clutch, a Rock Crusher T-10 tranny and a 12-bolt posi-track 'Vette 3rd member. Just to prove to my wife that I could actually finish a project...

So it goes.

I am a Lawyer and I have been at it for more than 30 years.

I am self-employed in eastern Massachusetts.
Should you need an honest legal opinion, just ask me.

As many of you know, I am recovering from Lyme disease and have been away from my favorite hobby -- fast boating, for 5 years ... but the good news is that I'm back and participated in the Donzi Poker run on lake Winnipesaukee last week. I help my fellow Donzi folks whenever I am asked.
While I like to do many things, driving one of my Donzis is about as good as it gets.

Go fast and stay out of harm's way.

Should any of you need my help, just ask, and I will do my best or at the least, point you to an honest Lawyer (sometimes hard to find) who will help you.
After all that is what I try to do every day.

From what I've been reading, most Donzi owners also dig cars and have quite an interest in doing both to the max. Porsche owners abound in this group.
Mark Laszlo, Jax FL, 2001 Classic 18 with a 6.2L (2nd new Donzi this year), '65 356SC hotrod (11th of 13 Porsches owned over last 30 years). Email me @ Varyak@aol.com.
PS The owner of my marina drives a new 22 Classic and a new Viper GTS/ACR.

I travel the country - throw parties - give away gifts - ride in other people's boats and do it all in the name of Donzi!

Ouch... hey, I think I just tore a fingernail... will anyone take pity on me?

My job is almost as good as that guy working for Playboy!

I am a west coaster, Seattle area. I just listed my two 1999 (22'& 16') classics for sale. I want a bigger, faster donzi with a cuddy (it rains alot here in Seattle you know!)

I am a mechanical designer with a mid-sized company here in Bedford, MA. I too am a speed freak with my Donzi 18 Classic and my Buell X1 motorcycle. I guess we are all pretty much speed freaks. Need to find out some info on the Lake Winni Donzi gatherings.

My title is "Home Detention Coordinator" for the County Juvenile Detention Center. I electronically monitor these future crooks of America! When not dealing with JD's I'm rebuilding a classic 1968 28' Magnum Raceboat which Don Aronow won the US Championship with in 1969. (we've all heard "it was Don's boat",) but I can prove it! Hoping the Movie gets off the ground so she can be a star again!!! NOT FOR SALE-YET

I am the facility manager at Eastern Tool & Stamping Co., Inc. We manufacture steel toe caps for the safety footwear industry. Donzi, Beemers, and Children (5 of them) occupy most of my time although not in that order of course. Finally getting my pictures to Scot for the Registry. Randy Hibbard, check it out if you like, I think our boats are clones.
