I will be picking up my 1996 ZX33 this coming saturday. i think that i make a great choice. Can any donzi owners verify as to why a i made a good choice. i will tell you one thing, winter is always long , but i think that this will be the longest one ever, waiting to actually drive it for the FIRST time. any comments?

Welcome aboard, you know they keep anti freeze on the shelf all winter just for test runs :D

Welcome aboard, as long as you're not a Leafs fan... :D :D
Phil, it's going to take more than anti-freeze to break that boat out this time of year. :D
He hasn't been around in a while, but the guy you want to talk to is Xtreme, he's from Kingston and has the same ride, also look for Digger, I believe his 33 is a ZX.

It's always good to have another Canadian onboard, is the Mustang plant still in Chatam ??

Congratulations and welcome aboard!

It is generally agreed that sitting in the drivers seat and making vroom noises is the best antidote for winter Donzi purchase disease. Please post pictures, even if they involve shoveling massive amounts of snow!

Vneck, welcome aboard. You will love your boat. What power is in her? You won't go as fast as the stepped hulls (96 was last year before steps) but the ride is fantastic and it is not touchy about turns regardless of drive trim. Tell us more about the boat- options? k-planes? power? exhaust setup? are you trailering? what kind of trailer? What water/where will you be running her? I will be happy to share my experiences. again, welcome aboard! post pics!

no it is not the one with the lion's head-that is a 95 (a buddy of mine had one), this one has 502 mpi's, k planes, ac/heat, tri axle trailer, power bolsters and footwells. it can maybe still be found at www.harrisonmarine.com (http://www.harrisonmarine.com) . I will be doing most of my boating in Lake St Clair and Lake Erie.

holy sister-ship Batman! Very similar to mine, exact same interior/cockpit color wise. My boat also had the same graphic when I bought her, have since changed it. Very cool! Would be great to get both boats at an event sometime. Drag it to Kentucky!

do you have the same sinks that were stolen from the Vatican?

nope no gold tone, I think thats the only difference... I don't have have ac/heat either. Have the hot water heater but have not used it. The vacuflush head works great tho, I can attest to that. I do have a few gripes with the way the boat is plumbed. There is an in-line water filter that needs occasional servicing, the onlyway to get to it is to remove the icemaker... once you do that you will have access to the pump and expansion tank. Love the The McLeod bolsters, they are awesome, very comfortable and secure.

drop me an email at dgdonzi@yahoo.com

What do you mean 300 to 1. Heck, everyone North of I-10 is a Canadian :p

Vneck, welcome aboard...to Heck with the cold, bundle up and run that bad boy. I got the REVENGE in the winter and ran her all the time, cold, rain, wind, whatever. Kinda different in SE Texas, but go for it man.

See it....I've stood on the deck. For some reason, I always thought all that gold hardware was right at home in Detroit. If we come to 1000 Islands, you better make sure that wet bar in there is working. wink "V" for Vodka. "O" for O.J.
