Hello from Michigan. I'm looking for any information on the 1974 21GT model. If anyone one has scanned sales brochures,or listings with dimensional, production numbers, color selections, etc. it would be greatly appreciated.
Does anyone know if all these boats were supplied with center consoles, and angled floors (foot supports) under the dash?
Would this pose a structual problem if removed?
Any thoughts, or comments?

Thanks Scott for a great site! If you don't have time to add them into the web site you could just drop me a email, with the scanned files.

Mark,
My 1971 21' GT has the angled floor / footrest under the dash, and it had the center console (guage panel) until I removed it last year and re-located the guages to the dash to make more room. I gotta get some web space, then I 'll post some pics....

Thanks for the input. It looks like the P.O.
did the same with this boat.
Was all of this just resting on the floor, and not supporting the middle upper dash/deck?
It also looks like someone had thoughts of putting a v type padding in the front of the hull. When you removed this section did the floor have a 2ft x 2ft hole behind the dash, with the floor running up to the bow?

Nathan,
I checked your GT21 registry page and there was a problem that was not displaying your photos.
I fixed it and your photos are now displaying
for hull# GTX2100021.
I got all the webspace in the world
email more photos and I will post them.

Scot

Mark,
My footrest runs the width of the cockpit with no "V" cutout where the console was located. The console was screwed to the underside of the dash and footrest. If you crawl over the footrest you have acces to the void in the bow, it's open to the bottom of the V, except for a long narrow tray for ski storage on the starboard side. (and soon to be a box housing 2 10" subs http://www.donzi.net/ubb/eek.gif ) The only hole in the floor is a carpeted access hatch between the two front seats providing access to cold beer and the 60 gallon fuel cell.

Scot,
Thanks for updating my registry entry http://www.donzi.net/ubb/biggrin.gif ! I just sent a few pics of the latest aluminum headed 388 cu. in. Chevrolet stroker. (including a pic of the 400 balancer and counterweight plate for the rear of the crankshaft....since it's a hot topic at the time of this post.) Did you mention that the registry is housed in a Unix enviornment? (just curious....I'm in a Solaris sys admin class with intentions of sitting for my Solaris Sys. Admin certification)
Thanks again,
Nathan

Sorry Nathan I migrated the Board from UNIX to NT last march and haven't experienced half the outages (probably bad Unix admins)

Here are the photos of Your engine:
