Saturday July 22 2000, A day that will live in history. My Donzi won first place at the Radar shoot out! I/O 24ft and under. I have my Trophy and soon will have my certificate to proof it. I"m sending a photo to Donzi so they can keep this one in there case of winners. Damn boat makes me so proud. They all wanted me but they couldn't touch me! And now they want one. A 24 ft Baja 640hp Imco drive ! One problem his hull was a 60mph hull.

Thanks Guys!
As soon as my wife gets the pictures developed,I will e/mail them to Scot, With the air Saturday dampness and humitidity and in 1/4 mile track I pulled 72mph enough to win !
22 Donzi me 72
24 Baja 67 mph
18 steuphen 50
16 crestfield 40 home made boat
26 HUSTLER 64

The 2 BIG CATS Jet set twin turbine skater 46 ft 177
Ruthless a 46 Skater twin 1600s 167 mph

Then as soon as I get the sheet I will tell you the rest. The Florida Poker run girls were on there 37ft Silverton showing us are speeds in a very strange way? They posted our speeds on there breasts no shirts! Then for the 100mph club they needed one more spot and I dont have to tell you were! The State Trooper didn;t do anything? Look like he was enjoying himself. I know I was !

I saw two boats headed west onthe LIE Friday...did they go to the Shootout?

They were Vinny Rufice's 30 Spectre and a Powerplay---Wizard of Oz.

Geo
The only 2 boats that did't have that restriction was the 2 big cats they ran the 4mile stretch in the middle of the bay. Radar gun and a official aboard. I could have used another 1/4 mile to wind out my procharger. I needed 400 more rpms! Hey put everyone had the same chance. So I could live with that speed!!
