RickR, drop JohnDMay an email at jdmay@jackmay.com . He is a GM dealer, and I think that is what he repowered his Z25 with this winter past. Your dollar goes a lot further up here, and shipping won't be a problem. (that's what I do)

Since by the time I can can get a couple of 383 built and installed, the summer will be over. For that reason, I decided to pick up a couple of SECO/Wheeler Motorsports 383 SBC short blocks locally. They should be ready to be picked up on August 4. Next I'll buy a couple of sets of Dart Iron-Eagle or World S/R iron heads and take it from there. This way I spread the cost out over a few months and control what parts goes into 'em. The cost come almost the same as a 383 built by Dougs engines in Seattle, but as they put it, hydroplane season is comming up and everything goes on hold. PaulO bought one of their engines and he got a great deal. I'm ready to have him tell us all about it.

PaulO, did it arrive yet?
