I have a 76 Hornet with a Chevy 427 and a Borg Warner transmission and v-drive. I was wondering who supplied Donzi with their Chevy engines in the mid-seventies? Are their any specs available on these engines?
Thanks

I have to wonder if the 427 was a repower since the 454 was the current big block in '76. Also, look around for evidence of what brand conversions they may have used back then. Mercruisers generally use the Merc type plug-in wiring harness and would probably have a cast-aluminum oil pan with ridges that run from front to rear. Also, it could easily have been a Chris-Craft engine as well. Look for blue paint. Can anyone think of any others? How 'bout Interceptor?
