Here are couple stills. Sorry they are not clear, but it was a little choppy out on the water today.
The third is a move clip. The engine sound is from
some other boat near us. Jack

I wish I could tell you...and I was there!! Sitting out in the water watching a race like this if fun, but you get no info on what's happening. You've gotta be on shore to hear the progress, and later, the awards. This wasn't a big enough event for a local radio station to pick it up. I've checked the APBA and the Donzi sites and there are no results posted. We needed a spy on-shore to tell us. Later this month, we should have a Daytona station broadcasting during the Off-Shore races. If I find out, I'll post.

Thanks for the pics. It helps the winter in Iowa go by. Great to see Donzi running strong. Hope they grab the checkered flag soon.

You wont believe who is in Team Warlock. Phil M Owner and Driver he use to be a Donzi owner. And Gene Drago. I got a call on the way home from Florida Sunday night from Gene. The funny part was I know Phil from NJ. I got him the deal on the Warlock and he meets up with Gene, I wish them luck through the New Race Season. I also added new pics to the N/E Donzi club on the 38ZR.

Saw Gene at the awards. It so happens Phil lives about 2 miles from my work.

Phil Reed, http://www.apba-offshore.com has the results fairly quickly. Sometimes it takes them a little longer because of possible course infractions and/or qualifications for "official" results.

Okay, yeah...that was me in the throttle seat. We might be switching for the next race. Third place ain't bad for first time out huh?
Missed Phil at the awards.
The new Donzi is absolutely phenominal. You have to see it in person, it is really a sweet machine.
New news on the GeneD front. Quit my job. I couldn't work 5 days without sleep anymore. Some people can do it (yeah right) but I can't. Besides, my boss told me he was contemplating putting a bullet in my head, beating my head to a pulp with a golf club, or beating me to death with a bat. And he was serious. I just needed to get away and have some free time, he'll just need to find someone else to take his abuse.
Now I can go on the internet and talk to my old Donzi buddies.
Got to run, talk at you all later...

Gene. It was great hearing from you. Me and my son wer out testing the 38ZR on Friday afternoon, Frankies face was was all teeth (He was in his Glory) In the back seat holding on to the handles! She runs so good, Steve Simon handles the boat so well you can tell he designed her. I was at Donzi Marine on Tuesday and number 3 was on the line and our boat was coming out of the mold an all blue 38ZR and then she goes to the paint shop for the rest of her graffics. Then she comes back to NJ for her power! Can't Wait.
Talk to you soon :D
