Good catch, Scott. Are you saying that because the strakes do not go all the way to the bow? The hatch sure looks like crap, too.

I like the "BB" (402 is a BB?) 18 and the GT-21.
Un-heard of asking prices. Who has some capital?

Scott, the lighting in that picture may have made the strakes disappear. I first thought the last 18 I looked at was a knock-off for the same reason, until I saw it up close.

Tony, what's the difference between an 18 classic and an x-18? especially from viewing that picture.

The X-18 (first on your list) was bought by David Owsley and is now proudly posted on the list and will be at Lake Eufaulla for Labor Day Weekend. The owner had owned the boat for 8 years and only knew it as a 2+3. After the deal was struck I told him it was an X-18 not a 2+3.

402CI sounds like a 60 over 396CI

Here's a thread I started recently on the visual differences between a Classic and an X-18.

Chevrolet actually made a 402 in the early 70's. I had a '72 Monte Carlo with a factory 402. Some people called it a 400 Big Block. It was based off of a 396 design. Lots of torque.
