Can anyone tell me if this will fit my boat or is it too much prop?

I have a 1993 Classic 18 with a 5.8L EFI OMC Cobra.

I have tried to call local boat dealers and looked in catalogs but it hasn't been much help and I can't seem to figure out what size prop I should get.

28 pitch, damn, if ya had the power it would work, but you need a ton of power I would think. say 600hp wink

Brad, most boats run 19 to 23 pitch. 21 being the modal pitch. Your engine has a suggested WOT RPM range if it's stock. You want a prop that tops out that range with one person, light load and 1/4 tank of gas. So to pick something that is in the ball park you need to know engine WOT range (Power Band) and the Drive Ratio. Once you know the basic pitch, you can play with the other aspects - rake, cup, lab finish, etc.
