The 22 is back in the stable ready to be re-rigged. Hook is gone and the deck is screwed on straight.
I would like to replace the fiberglass diamondplate in the engine compartment but I have no idea where to start looking.
Any ideas?

I don't know about fiberglass diamond plate but I used polished anodized aluminum in my 22'. It looked very cool and was only around .080 thick so probably not much heavier than FRP. This can be had from any aluminum plate house.

I did the same with aluminum 1/2 in diamond plate you need exactly a ft square if you have 24in stringers

I am concerned about the aluminum corroding. Are there different aluminum alloys available in diamond plate? Can you get it anodized?

Just clear coat it!

Clear coat looks nice, but it will scratch easily. I am pretty sure most bilge cleaners will attack the finish. Anodizing is the toughest finish you can get on aluminum. It is pretty much impervious to just about everything. The added bonus is you can get practically any color you want. It's also a pretty cheap process.

Good BigG, keep adding that weight... (he,he)

Let me know too, a nice place to stand on either side on the engine would be great. Just have to put it on some kind of a hinge so that when you drop that tool down there you can retrieve it.
