Hull Composition

I have a 1990 GT230 and I'm looking at putting in a fish/depyh finder. I want to put in a shoot through hull transducer. Can anyone tell me if the hull is soild fiberglass, as this make a significant impact on transducer performance

You should have no problem there have been a few posts on mounting inside. It will not work well at high speed nor will the through hull units. I have mine set in Rule clear silicone works fine, some prefer epoxy or oil/water tubes. I used to test them in a plastic bag with mineral oil to make sure they would fire through. Thats not nesasary on a Donzi, no cheap hulls here.
