View Full Version : planing at a lower speed?

my 19' Reggaza is very hard to keep on plane around 18-20 MPH when im pulling the tube and kneeboards. Any suggestions on what to use to get it to plane better at a slower speed? I alread have a hydrofoil and am running a 3 blade ss prop would going to a 4 blade help?

i wanted to add trim tabs but i only have 9" of clearance under my swim deck and I havent found any with short enough actuators yet.

Trim tabs have been mentioned. If they will not fit, you need weight in the front, somehow, some way. I have found that even 50lbs. can make a difference. Check it out.
