I have already replaced my KingCobra on my Z-25 once (2 years ago) and now am in a position of having to do it again. The problem is I don't want to put another OMC on the back and I don't have the $10-15K to do a complete repower. My 460 is running strong so I thought I could save some money this year by replacing the OMC with a Bravo I. and next year put in a 496 or 502. Is there a way to pair a Bravo I to a Ford 460? Some sort of conversion kit or something. Also I know that the transom is not going to fit but is there an easier way to convert than cut and reglass the transom? Maybe a plate that would bolt in or something? Any thoughts or help would be great.
