I have gained a new respect for the Donzi 26ZX. Boat launches straight, flys level, and lands soft in the ocean chop. No rattles and no surprises. A fountain 27 tried to hang with us, but soon disappeared into our spray. Bryan drives this thing like a pro. Life jackets on, water for hydration, and the throttles down! Donzi was well represented at this Poker Run.
Thanks for a great weekend Bryan!

Todd, the lake boater...

Isn't that house on Long Creek in Virginia Beach? Hampton Roads is a great place to be in the summer. Doesn't look like we'll be getting up there this summer though. :( I grew up at the on the North End of VB, but somehow I ended up on the Gulf of Mexico.

Looks like you guys had a blast!

Forrest, you are close, prior to the entrance of long creek, across from Bubba's on the right side of the inlet returning.
We ran 53 to 60 GPS most of the day, opened her WOT twice to hold a spot! But don't let that number 55 fool ya, that is good in our back yard, we rocked and rolled when required, of 35 boats we were normally 4th or 5th to arrive (6 stops), it was a long trip (165 miles). Top speed of the day was 67.3 GPS on one of those WOT runs.

Todd was a professional at having fun...
In a month we all join to do it again, and this time Jill and Nancy will be aboard.
Thanks for the pictures Todd, See ya soon.
Bryan
PS, never burn't, remember I am at 140 hours already this year, just tanned...

Jake the two big dogs of this fight was my buddy in a 32 Baja with built 540's Carbed and a 35 Cig Cafe Racer with 575SC's, them two ran WOT all day (low to mid 80's GPS), we only saw them a couple times and up close at lunch. 3rd and 4th jockeyed around, but as the wind picked up we did well.
We did hold our own.
I certainly ran proud in my DONZI...
Oh, and Todd now knows what a flag blowing from the east at 15 knots means!
Thanks again Todd.
