And where did you get that Idea from???Check out my 1968 Donzi pic on the registery. I even went as far as painting the cover the same as the boat. White with a Orange stripe.

Just a quick photo of the engine going together for my Blackhawk. The mirror finish is picking up a bunch of reflections so it looks a bit strange, but I can't wait to get the boat in the water.

You guys are very creative compared to me. All your engines look fantastic! Scott Pearson owns probably one of the most creative designed Classic 18's in the whole world. The best compliment to artistic creativity I'm told is copying. Donzigo, I'll bet the improvements you made to your engine compartment was one of the best afternoons you've spent on your Donzi. Blackhawk, any chance I could get a set of those valve covers in Dark BLUE? wink Nice job!

The valve covers are the original to the engine just sporting a fresh coat of paint. I drew the graphics in autocad and had them made locally. A little bit of effort and now I have a whole new look. I will post a photo when the engine is complete. I plan on having my Blackhawk around the Donzi dealer meeting, anyone interested in having a small get together? Ted?, Donzigo? Let
me know so we can put something together.
