Some photos for you guys. I have been slow at installing my motor after rebuild. I had to design and build a frame for the motor mounts. Made out of 1/4" alum. plate. Fits perfect and now the motor sits level and straight. Check out the actual motor mount ass'y. Also check out the 280 drive. Thanks Chris - This fits like a dream. So far the only problem is finding the right dia. pulleys as the 302 bolt pattern is different than the 289 that I originally had. Time to hit the junkyard.

Saweeet!!! You do nice work...it's always good to see some other SBF's. We are definitely in the minority around these parts. What are the details on your rebuild?

If you don't find the pulleys you need drop me a line. There is an shop in Detroit, affiliated with Ford somehow, that sells what you need. I will hunt up their phone number if you need me to.

Kong,
Have you entered this boat in the registry. You should post some before, during and after pics.

Scott, I have got the boat posted in the registry. It is the 16-387. It is listed 3 times for some reason. You can delete 2 of them and leave the one with the pics that are posted with it. Those are before pics. Looks good but needed internal work so I am dismantling it. Wiring harness, new deck core, engine rebuilt, and new outdrive.

http://hlsm.com/ Try this link, you will have to compare part numbers. It will get where you want with no mistakes. I don't have a Volvo but I was a tech for them for many years, they are the Maytags of drives.
