Hey Ya'll....one more quick question. First, sorry about the typos in my last post. Second... I have a vortex 15x17 aluminum prop on my 25' Donzi now. It is a SB 350/5.7 OMC Cobra. What would be a good size for me to use in a stainless. Was thinking 14.25x17, what do ya'll think?

What RPM you are doing now, is it running good?

only one bad thing in switching to stainless form aluminum. if you run aground with the aluminum, what happens the blades bend a ton. if you run aground with a stainless, the blades dont bend as much (stronger, less flexing while at high rpm) so the drive has to absorb the rest of the shock that your stainless dosent.

i still reccomend the stainless, not sure on size though. the pro's out weigh the could happen cons.

it runs 4200-4600 W.O.T.

Your RPM range is good, the smaller diameter prop will hurt your hole shot and will rev just a little higher. I would try it before you buy it!
