Lake George was a blast this weekend. (more on this later)
Thanks ED!!

The Rocker Plates work great at cruise speeds. The Lake was rough and the cops pulled me over twice!! So needless to say I was not able to do any real fast running.

Looks good! Is there a reason you chose them over K planes?

Geoo the rocker plates just add to that awesome business end! It will be great to hear how well they work.

I believe that K-planes are no more than "High-end" heavy duty tabs...They have no "arc" and are a flat plane. Rocker would not be accomplished. Also the Rocker plates are closer in to hull centerline and thus running surface and will have a greater effect on dynamics I believe. Note that they curve through their length and are not flat surfaces.

I don't really know any of this, just observations of the two... :D

I have to go with Lenny from what little I have read they are mounted absolutely flush with the bottom near centerline and the water stays attached to the rockers helping to lift the bow. With tabs they mearly deflect the flow downward and have no effect on raising the bow.

K-planes and all other trim tabs only lower the bow of the boat to raise the bow you trim the drive out which reduces the amount of force applied parallel to the bottom of the hull. The rocker tabs allow you to trim the drives parallel to the hull and raise and lower the bow with the tabs. Talk to tredwellmotorsports they use them on there race boats.
