I was out on Lake Austin today in my old V-drive Correct Craft draggin' my son around on a wakeboard and spied an 18' Classic -- white w/ red stipes. Full of folks w/ ****eatun grins on their faces...
Looked like a late model boat w/ what appeared to be a Volvo drive???. Sounded boss as she cruised by...
Kind of made me want to run up to the house and grab the Donz...
Anybody on the board?
Also, yesterday I think I spied a Hornet cruising by. If I had been in my boat -- instead of sitting on the shore w/ a hotdog and a beer -- I'd have chased it down. Looked really spiffed up -- appeared to have a very dark green hull -- solid. It was a good ways away, but it did have the distinctive windshield and gunwales of the Hornet. Did they make this boat in a V-drive?
There were also a couple of wood Chris Crafts out too. Really nice weekend for boating and I was out there both days... :cool:
