Lake Wylie is part of the Catawba River that is damned in several locations. The dams form many lakes from the mountains of NC to SC.

Looks like your getting your 502 dialed in Greg. Nice run!

Ted - Lake Wylie is just South of Charlotte in South Carolina. Nice lake with lots to see and do. I found it to be not quite as crowded as Lake Norman in Charlotte. Been a couple years since being there though. Like any lake, they are always building and developing.

Opps, never mind, Greg beat me to it. LOL

With much disappointment, I will have to remain in NC and not be attending the rally in Sota, so I guess the vents are still safe...till Palatka :p
And Yes I think I might be testing another prop or two soon. What do you think the MSD is worth?

Not messing with many wires. wink

Dwight,
Prop is a 25" Turbo 1 which I got after changing out the motor.

Eugene, I know a guy that has ONE of the vents.
I think he would part with it........what do you want me to offer him for it..... for you??

Ted,
Rich's reproduction vents were $115.00/each. Unfortunately his supplier is not casting them at this point. So this would be reasonable for the vent if it were in good shape. More if it had the Donzi name cast in it, like my other three vents have.

Thanks.

Greg: did you have any problems getting around the Sail boats Saturday? They were hogging the whole lake when I went thru there.

Poodle,
The vents would need to be made out of gold!
Then we could talk. :D

Budman,
I saw only one blow boat out there and I think some others were picking up the markers as I got down to that part of lake. Good meeting you at the ramp.
Poodle,
Nosecone hunt may be another item too. I think I'm seeing signs of cavitation on the rear of the lower unit above the prop shaft. Not sure if a nosecone will help that or not.
