This is a dumb one but was wondering if I'm missing something obvious.
The old 280 drive I got had no fin so I bought one. To my surprise, unlike the 250 with the different fin type, the bolt "threads" through the anti-cavitation plate of the 280 (i.e. there are threads in the plate itself).
The 250's bolt just went through that part and had threads in the fin only.
With the 280, how do you get the fin to align properly? If I thread the bolt through the unit and then tighten the fin, the fin ends up in a sideways (wrong) position.
I know I'm going to be embarrassed, but what's the standard procedure to make that right? Some kind of spacer??
