I have a 1967 Donzi 2+3 (18') with the original fuel tank. Does anyone know its capacity?
Thanks.

Tom,
I have a 1968 18 2+3. I just had a new tank built to the exact spec's of the old one. It was 18 Gallons. Hope that helps. If you need anymore info please let me know. Im in the middle of the restoration on mine and man is it apart. Its comming along great.

My 1970 model has an 18 gallon capacity, also.

My 1975 X-18 came with a 25 gal. tank; it was an option to have a 41 gal tank. Two winters ago I removed the 25 gal tank and purchased a 41 gal tank from Donzi. I had to move the rear fuel tank bulkhead back and could not use the original storage tray. Part # 561-0104 41 gal. fuel tank $ 390.60 plus freight. GEOO

No wonder Emmo had all those plastic gas jugs sitting in the back seat of Mello Yellow at the First Annual LA Donzi Roundup on Lake Eufaulla!

I ran my '76 18 2+3 out of gas once and it took just under 18 gallons to top the tamk off. Damned gauge showed 1/4 tank...

Now I watch to see if it moves up and down around 1/4 -- if there's enough fuel to slosh, then I have enough to get to a dock. When the sloshing stops, the needle movemeent stops and pretty soon, the boat movement stops...

Remember that your tank is in the bow, which is v-shaped. Start looking for fuel when it gets to half a tank on the gauge!

Anyone know the capacity on a 95 22Clasic
Put 50 gallons in the other day when she showed 1/3.

Rick - you have to fill the gas tank - noot the bilge!!! Just Kidding.

Regarding the 18's fuel - my co worker (who built most of these boats on 188th st) recalled 25 gal stock and 41 gal option. The 41 gal had the rear bulkhead moved aft to accomodate the longer tank.

Rick R---- I have an original '95 Donzi brochure and it gives the tank capacity of a 22 Classic as 55 gallons.
