I ran across this Donzi for sale on trader on line. This is the first I have seen an anniversary 18 footer like this. What would the horsepower be and the mph sounds exaggerated. Does anyone know about this boat?

Peter,

All 30th Anniversary models were made as 1995 models not 1998 models. They were red and creme white and had a 30th Anniversary logo on both sides toward the rear of the side hull. Maybe a dealer had one left over for three years and sold it to this guy. 80 miles per hour, get real!
Anyone who spends $47,000 on an 18' donzi
must have spent $17,000. on the trailer.

I have 540hp in a 22ZX and I dont see 80. Maybe he will see 70 but thats a 454/330 and thats pushing . Actually the 350/300 is just as fast. 47.000. I paid 36 for my 22 in 1998 and that was brand new. Thats like the guy in there with the 22zx with a 502/415 he Claims 75. I dont think so! I do 75-77 and now with the weather getting humid 74.

I have a 98 Classic 18 which I purchased
new, trust me that motor/drive package
was not offered. In 1998 the largest
motor offered was the 350 Magnum MPI
with a Brovo 1, about 30k with cover
carpet and mayby a trailer. Sounds like
this guy invested to much money into
this boat or has limited knowlege about
Donzis. For 47k you can get a brand new
22 with a 454 MPI Magnum in it , or
even a 502.
