Not Donzi related, but you guys seem to know alot about boats. Can anyone give any info on Monterey Boats? A friend is looking at a Monterey Deck boat. How is the build quality? Fit and finish? Anything to look out for? Thanks for any replies.

We used to sell Monterey, but dropped them last year in favor of Regal. They are a mid-tier boat with mediocre build quality. Certainly better than a Bayliner or Four-Winns, but not the best. They can compare with boats like Maxum. If he can get a good price, then I would go for it.

I looked at monterey boats (still looking). I thought the fit and build quality was quite good. They do have some nice features. I am looking for a cruiser (24 to 26) Aft or mid cabin. I have looked at a few nice boats. One of them a
Donzi 275 LXC. I figured if I bought the Donzi,I could keep all of my Donzi shirts, cupholders, keychains etc. :)

My buddies neighbor has a 2000 27LXC, unfortunately it is at the factory getting warranty work done, from VA.
I will give him your email, he will give you the scoop on his.
